    By Bailey N. | Moving destinations | 0 comment | 2 June, 2020 | 0

California has it all. Warm sand and sunny beaches make it perfect for retirees. It may seem ideal for retirement and anyone thinking that wouldn’t be wrong. At the same time, the LA area may seem a bit strange for retirement. It is a mecca for the movie industry and it draws in crowds. It may seem undesirable for retirement. However, Los Angeles has some of the best places to retire in California.

    Los Angeles

Well, Los Angeles has a lot more to offer than just Hollywood and the movie industry. It has proven to be one of the best locations for retirement. Sun, sand, and beaches make LA look like a perfect place to retire and relax after you end your career. There is much to see and do in the area. Lots of retirement communities are springing up in the area. These senior living complexes are offering housing and active retired life that cater to every need. Moving companies are even specializing and offering moving crews trained to help the elderly move.

The Los Angeles area is perfect for rest and relaxation.

But why is LA suitable for retirees and why do people retire there? Well the list is short but to the point:

    • The weather
    • Healthcare system
    • Healthy lifestyle

The weather in the Los Angeles area is perfect. Warm but not too dry with occasional rain. The healthcare system is one of the best in the US. It is also suitable for every income level and can meet anyone’s needs. Also, healthcare offers some alternative modalities and a healthy driven lifestyle. Residents tend to be active and usually jog, cycle, hike, or visit local gyms 24 hours a day. They also tend to practice healthy diets with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year.

Besides these, the LA area is a diverse and beautiful place. It offers natural beauties and landscapes to enjoy if you are in for an active outdoor retirement. At the same time, it offers other amenities if you are not that active. This is why Los Angeles Transfer and Storage and other movers have their hands full. So here are some of the best places to retire in the LA area.

    Downtown LA

The place is urban and full of history and culture. The city is a culture and art center with many museums, art galleries, and theaters. Many artists also move to downtown LA and set up residence there.

Hollywood is certainly one of the best places to retire

The area was restored and revitalized after the earthquake. It is a mixture of old-styled buildings of the 50s and 60s and modern high rises. At the same time, it is popular with the celebrities that occupy Los Feliz. The place is trendy and becoming very popular. One of the highlights is also a Griffith park observatory for hiking and enjoying stargazing.

It is this mixture that makes the LA area one of the best places to retire in California. Do your research and find a place that will suit you perfectly and relax.
