The city was one of the largest steel manufacturers so it was named ‘The Steel City’. This is not the case today. However, it is a startup central and a great place to start a business in according to Kiplinger. You will even find more than 20 000 job offers if you scour the ads, so what are you waiting for! Because of its rapid development of healthcare, financial services, and education it is now number 94 on Forbes list of best cities to start a business and career.

    • Visit the  PNC stadium. the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and enjoy an unforgettable baseball game. This is one of the most beautiful baseball stadiums in the USA.

    • The great Andy Warhol was born here. You can visit the Andy Warhol Museum.  It is on Pittsburgh’s North Shore,  at the end of the Andy Warhol bridge (quite symbolic.right?).  The ‘Infinity Dots Mirrored Room’ is especially interesting.  Actually, this is the work of the famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
    • Pittsburgh is the birthplace of the Big Mac, as well as the banana split and Heinz Ketchup so food is excellent here. Moreover, you can go on a culinary trip with  ‘Burgh Bits and Bites’. They will take you on a tour around all of the best munching places in ‘ The Burgh’.
    • You can find some good beer in Pittsburgh. Believe it or not, you can drink your beer in a former Catholic Church.  In Lawrenceville, you can find ‘The Church Brew Works’, which is a microbrewery that used to be a Roman Catholic Church. Close to the Ace Hotel is ‘The Urban Tap’. This is the bar where you can enjoy more than 100 different tap beers. It has a great urban garden with cacti and geodesic cubes which are great for taking cool photos.Moreover,  a perfect place for your trippy and unique photos is Randyland. Actually, this is a graffiti art installation that looks like it came from a fantasy world. This sure is an original place to visit.
